On June 29, INtercamBIOM organized, through the BRANCHES project, a European workshop with companies from Spain and Portugal that are innovating in systems for obtaining biomass, and in production of bioenergy, syngas and biocoals.
The event counted with AVEBIOM and CIRCE as presenters, followed by 2 refferential keynotes of the RBA – Rural Bioeconomy Alliance and Bioenergy Europe, and 8 presentations of key innovative practices from Spain and Portugal.

CIRCE and AVEBIOM presented BRANCHES project and the evolution on INtercamBIOM network in Spain.

Mr. Dimitris Michas presented the new collaborative initiative of EU projects working on #bioeconomy in #rural areas, the participating projects and possibilities to connect with it.

Mr. Manolis Karampinis from Bioenergy Europe, provided figures on bioenergy as a key piece in current and future for Europe, and the need to keep supporting innovations and to be in EU roadmaps like the Net-Zero indystry Act.
